Aperol Spritz Winter Cocktails

**1\. Classic Christmas Aperol Spritz (The Crowd-Pleaser)**

**Ingredients (per glass):**

- 75 ml Prosecco (extra dry)
- 50 ml Aperol
- 25 ml spiced cranberry soda (see note) or regular soda
- Splash of gin (optional – makes it a “Winter Aperol Spritz”)

Garnish: cinnamon stick + dehydrated orange wheel + fresh cranberries

**Method:** Build in a large wine glass over ice: Prosecco → Aperol → spiced cranberry soda top-up. Stir gently.

**Note:** Make spiced cranberry soda by gently heating cranberry juice with a cinnamon stick and star anise for 5 minutes, then carbonate if you have a SodaStream (or just use regular soda and add a dash of the spiced juice).

**Hot version (perfect for winter markets):**

Warm 50 ml Aperol with 100 ml red wine, orange slices, clove, star anise, and a teaspoon of honey for 3–4 minutes (do not boil). Top with chilled Prosecco just before serving – creates a beautiful foam.

**Cold version:** Make the mulled mix the day before, chill, then use as the base exactly like a normal Spritz.

**5\. Snowfall Aperol Spritz (White Christmas Edition)**

Looks like actual snow falling when you stir – huge hit at corporate Christmas parties.
